April 8, 2005 Keystone Catfishing

My oldest son Tim and I went fishing today ... we got out there kinda late and the sun came out. That moved all the bigger fish deep and scattered them so we ended up fishing for just keepers today ... we caught about 36 to 37 fish today. The weather changed on us and the night fishing should prove to be a lot better than the bright daylight. I can't complain though ... my son allowed he was plum tuckered out from reeling fish in today ... we missed probably 15 or so by just not being in the right spot at the right time ... sammitch in our hand or reeling in another fish when one of the other poles would take off ... we'd try to set the hook on um but that's hard to do with another pole in your hand fighting another fish at the same time ... that happened quite a bit today.
