Fished with Richard and his son Blake today. The weather finally cooperated some but the fish was another story. It took a while to figure them out today as I was finding a lot of fish but they just wouldn't bite. Then we kind of established a bit of a pattern and started bringing them into the boat pretty good ... just had to wait on them so that they could make up their minds if they wanted to bite or not and they were holding a little to structure in some areas also. It was a hard pattern to figure out after the several days of high winds then this morning it was dead calm. Ole Blake was trash talking all morning long saying he outfished his dad every time they went fishing and all that but it was Richard with the hot side of the boat today and he got to do a little "Rubbin It In!"
Here's Richard with the biggun of the day at 17 lbs
Then Richard trying to show Blake what a fairly nice fish looked like, hahaha 13+ lbs
Then Richard again showing Blake what another nice one looked like 10+ lbs
total catch for the day was 11 fish
