Fished with Murle and Troy from up Stillwater way. Had a tough day today as they had some trouble negotiating the equipment and missed a lot of good strong hits but we ended up with about 50 lbs of fish with the biggest being 10 lbs 13 oz ... it came in as a double ... Murle's rod took off after about 3 to 4 minutes of waiting when we first started and then Troy's rod took off and we landed this double right off the bat and everything went down hill from there. hahaha. had a lot of fun but started off kinda rough ... the bolt came out of my trailer axle spring and we had to wait on my wife to run to Cushing to get a 1/2 inch bolt and some tools and then got the bolt put in and by the time we got out to the fishin spot it was after noon. I left my jacket in the truck and Murle said it's going to warm up pretty quick ... it was a cold ride to the fishin hole boy. let me tell ya. It never warmed up too much either with a cold north wind at sometimes about 30 mph. made it tough to keep the boat still also as it was swaying back n forth.
Murle on the left and Troy on the right with the double that we'd caught right off the git-go. 7 lbs and 10 lbs 13 oz
