Ugh! is about all I can say about today as far as the conditions go ... wind was exceeding 30 mph at times and the fish were scattered but once we'd established a little bit of a pattern we started knockin them down pretty good. It was miserable enough out there that I didn't worry too much about pictures today. Doug Clayton and Casey went fishing with me today ... Casey is a fireman over at Agra and he came with Doug. We had a great time. Lots of fun and jokin around. The wind was so bad most of the day that we couldn't even get the anchor to hold and it's a good anchor ... one of those Donner anchors that plow into the bottom but it was no match for that wind ... that's how bad it was this on top of two fronts that came through in the last few days had everything kind of messed up so it was a slow start. The fish were biting good and we had White bass messing with us quite a bit also ... robbing our baits so we had to get out of the area where they were ... ended up back near there and they started hittin us again so we moved out of there and got a little further out into the wind when it started raining and we bailed out then. We got started around 9 am and shad were really scattered but we found some stacked up in deep water and then went fishin. We had about 50 shad and that would have been plenty had it not been for the white bass. We had to make another bait run about 2pm and we already had quite a few fish. we got up there after the second bait run and caught 3 or 4 more and ended up with 5 around 8 to 10 lbs and several around 3 to 5 with one that went 13 lbs 12 oz and that was the only photo I'd gotten ... I'm sorry guys but I forgot to get a picture of all your fish for ya. Doug Clayton with the biggest of the day. 13 lbs 12 oz
