Fished with Ladora and Tony tonight. We got a late start and quit a little early but still ended up catching around 15 fish. I hate to admit this but that Secret-7 bait is pretty good. We caught around 11 of the fish on that stuff and only 4 on shad. The first two fish in the boat was on dip bait. The next two was on live and cut shad. Towards the end of the trip I was using 5 rods with the dip bait and only three with live shad. The gar pluck them off the hooks pretty fast right now. Dora was watching those bats and I think they were making her a little nervous cause when she was intent on bat watching Tony goosed her and hollered "Back Pole" hahaha ... she almost jumped out of the boat but instead whopped poor Tony a good one. Tony told me what happened and I explained to Dora that there's no good reason for domestic violence like that. hahahaha. But, she thought one of those bats jumped up and got her and she let Tony know of her disapproval of him goosing her while she was watching those bats. hahaha
I've gotten a few calls and emails about the Secret 7 Dip Bait and it's sold at the link above. Click on the TeamCatfish banner and you can find it there. The best way to fish this stuff is to fish shallow flats or that's the way I was fishing with it and did pretty good. I also won't endorse something that isn't any good as I've seen Danny King bait flop big time out on Keystone as well as other prepared baits that people use below Keystone dam .. also Basspro holds these prepared bait tournaments and just the other day people using Secret 7 placed 1st, 2nd, 6th and 9th place. This stuff has won 3 out of the last 4 prepared bait tournaments so it's not like those other baits that are sold everywhere that's better at taking your money than it is at catfishing.
