Fished with father and son team Doug and Jimmy Clayton.
caught the snot outta the fish today. one 35.5, 18.6, 14.11 etc etc. over 200 lbs of fish. photos and info on the today's catch photos link above. |

They stopped by the house and dropped off some fish and all they could talk about was going out again. It was disgusting. _________________ Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |

| hahaha. yeah they were pumped but a little tired too I guess ... was a good day. ole jimmy was trash talkin a little or wanting to and then dad thumped him with the 35.5 ... almost doubled his biggest one. |

| nope... ain't even sharped it yet. I just take it out and show people right now .. I think I'm gonna get some wood seal or something and coat that handle before I use it ... maybe some kind of clear coat. might have to make a glass showcase for it and just mount the case on the center console so ... hey ... one of those cases made of that plexiglass would work ... thick but can still see through it on a rotating platform ... that would be cool for it ... then I wouldn't have to put sealer on it hahaha. |

The scales on that knife are made of a product called diamond wood. I've tried various finishes but nothing will stick. You might try a UV proof epoxy. I don't think sunlight will be much of a problem. I'll put new scales on it if anything happens. _________________ Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |
