Catfishing Information

I went out Saturday morning fishing way back in a creek that branchs off hominy creek. The water was up and flowing pretty good, the fish were slaping their tails in and around the snags out in the creek. I was fishing with large minows and caught 2 catfish in about 2 feet of water 8 feet from the bank. Each fish was about 24 inches long. I hooked another fish bigger but when I tried to drag it up on the bank it broke my line it was bigger than the others. So on Sunday I replace my 12 lb. line with 17lb.

Three of my daughters were with me and when we saw the 2nd snake they told me we had to leave and go to lunch at carls jr. We fished the creek a total of about 2 hours, and nobody got snake bit or poison ivy.
