Hi,

Three weeks ago the South Carolina passed new legislation changing
limits on 5 species. "The bill includes first-time black drum, weakfish and saltwater catfish limits and modifies existing regulations for the flounder, spotted seatrout and red drum". Here's an article from the DNR
director from the State's editorial page.

Finfish changes to SC Laws

Thanks..the article was not clear on that.

If you ever get a chance to visit DNR in Columbia go up to the second
floor to see the monster cat they have mounted in there..sitting in
a clear case in the hallway. It must be about 70 pounds..almost as
big as the bear in another display case.

More clarification.."The law applies to only the waters of Lake Marion, the Diversion Canal, the Rediversion Canal above St. Stephen Dam, and Lake Moultrie"
