Fished with Dewayne, owner of and his wife Teresa and her mom Mary. The weather was about as perfect as it could be and the fishing was a little slow. Seemed like the fish just wasn't interested except in isolated spots .. never did figure out a good pattern for them but we caught some nice ones with the biggest at 16 lbs. They averaged around 9+ lbs with 8 fish total. We lost only one fish today and that was on a Kahle hook. looked like about a 10 lb'r. I had to boat plum near to Colorado today to find any fish that were biting hahaha. They only got in almost 4 hours fishin with all the boating we did and at 3:30 Dewayne allowed that it's a long drive back to Dallas. So we Wrapped it up early and started late to boot. I had 2 lug bolts broke off my trailer this morning .. luckily I was backing up in the gravel parking lot with my window rolled down and I heard something going "Clank .... Clank" so I got out and looked and all my lugs were loose and two of them were broken off ... sure was lucky to catch that before my wheel went sailing off into the country-side. Got home and I had some lug bolts for my wife's car that fit right in there real snug like so it's all fixed back up now.

Mary with the first fish of the day. about 7 or 8 lbs

Teresa caught a 9 lb channelcat

Then she got her a 12 lb blue

and Mary caught the biggun of the day at 16 lbs
