Tiny's Guide Service

Fished with Bart, Cody, Hershal and John today from nothern Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Had a tough day and it was tough just getting the fishing time in as we were boating quite a lot trying to find some willing participants to the carnage that we wished to ensue upon some mealy mouthed pez gatos. It was tougher than I'd have imagined it being today ... we found lots of fish using the tiny's secret fish location method but getting them to bite was another matter all together ... seemed like the only fish that would hit were in deeper waters and there was only a couple of spots that they bit good at but translating that into fish in the boat was pretty difficult as this one spot the fish would always run back towards the boat and ya gotta be on your toes for that ... I think we only got one fish right there in that spot or maybe two. We were one at a timing most of the day with an average of less than 1 per stop so that give you kind of an idea of how things were going ... lots of running but very little fishing ... we only had about 2.75 hours used up by about 2pm if that much ... I keep a pretty close count in my head as I don't count boating and bait catching time on the trip as fishing time. sure is hard to get in the full 6 hours when you're moving every 15 to 20 minutes trying to figure out the negative fish ... we had a litte front go through this morning the fired up a bunch of clouds but no rain or anything ... not sure if that had anything to do with it or not but we was in this one spot that had fish in it stacked up like cord wood ... we caught one there on live shad. it was a mess ... tried to show bart and the guys how the fish location method worked but since it wasn't producing any fish we hadda fall back to post front patterns to the channels where we caught most of our fish.  it was a mess for sure today. Biggest fish was 12 lbs 5oz with three close to 8 and a 7 and a 4 and on down ... I got ready to bleed them and that's when I found out they'd been throwing the ones around 3 and under back ... hahaha ... ole tiny didn't want to clean those anyhow hahaha.
