Tiny's Guide Service

Today was a great day to be out fishing. Only problem was the bigguns are on vacation it seems like. The Father and Daughter team caught quite a few fish today but nothing over 5 lbs. We fished from about noon until around 6 pm. all caught on large cut shad. The wind was out of the southeast at about 5mph so it made for a pleasant day out on the water. I think Jessica reeled in most of the fish ... she was a little shy so I didn't give her too bad of a time. The water has warmed back up so I think that's the reason the bigger fish have pulled back again ... it cooled down pretty good and the bigguns started getting active but the last two days it's warmed back up to over 70 degrees ... we need a few good cold snaps to turn the fish on out there. I took a pretty good spill when we first started ... threw the big net and pain shot down in that left leg and I almost went into the drink but grabbed the hand rail on the center console and I stayed in the boat but man did I pay fer that one ... took off my shirt when I got home and my wife said what in the world is that ... I said what ... she said that ... looks like ya got two golf balls implanted into your back ... I said I fell down today ... pinched my back and it's been bothering me all day but I got through it okay. didn't want to let on like I was hurtin too bad though. I had some meds and used um and got through the day okay ... we had a lot of fun and it was a day I'll remember for a long time. nice to see a father and daughter have a good time out fishin.

Jessica and father Dewayne with today's catch.

Jessica with some nice bluecat. I got her to smile in one of them sayin I was gonna tickle her and she couldn't hold the smile back then. She's cuter than a speckled pup, ain't she.
