Fished with Tony Wessel and his boys, Sam, Blake and Shelby. We had a short day today as two hours in, we hit a big log and tore a hole in the transom. This added to the hose leaking made it so that we couldn't fish any longer. What made it bad was when we was making our retreat I found lots of nice fish on the way out ... we couldn't stop and fish of course as when I'd slow down the boat would start filling up with water ... the first time it emptied I thought that whatever happened had fixed itself so I slowed down but it didn't take long for me to see that we couldn't stay as the hole in the transom let water out when we were up to speed but when we slowed it started filling in fast with the 2+ inch hole in the transom. I got home and the next morning I went to work on the boat by cutting the deck and floor out just to find that the only thing wrong with it was the livewell hose had come loose ... now if I coulda known that I could have just put the hose back on but now I've got part of the upper floor cut out and most of the front deck to weld back up hahaha... kinda needed to do that anyhow as I bought some aluminum tubing to sure up the braces in the hull and reweld the old braces that Lowe didn't weld to start with ... should be about as stout as a tank when I'm done.

Sam woith the biggun of the day at 15 lbs

Shelby with another nice fish. We ended up with 6 or 7 fish for the short time we were out.
