Fished with Rick and his Daughter Jessica today. Had a great time and caught some fish. The fish were biting on cut shad today. For the last several trips we couldn't get them to hit anything but live baits. Water temp was 82 degrees with light winds out of the northeast. That east wind seems to have the fish shut off a little after that front rolled through but we managed to put almost 3 gallons of fillets in the boat. It was a little odd today because the fish wouldn't bite except in certain spots ... they're still pulled back to the deep holes for the most part but the ones in the deep water wouldn't bite at all so we had to find just the right spots in order to get them to hit.
